Breaking God's Heart

We break God's heart when we re-turn to the world. Yesterday, I wrote a little bit about not falling in love with the things of this world - but rather loving God more than those things.
In a follow up to that, I just want you to read (on your own time) the parable of the Lost Sheep in Luke 15:1-7.

A lot of times we think to ourselves, "Well... God has ALL these other people to tend to and to worry about... So He just won't notice one or two sinful things I do." Well, this parable teaches that EACH soul matters to the Lord. And whenever I sin, I break God's heart. And whenever YOU sin, you break God's heart. He knows each one of us and sees each one of our actions. And when our actions aren't what they should be, we are breaking God's heart - Think about that next time you are tempted to stray towards things of the world.
