In Everything You Do, Serve God

We do a lot in our day-to-day life. We have different tasks and things that we do everyday. As Christians, we are supposed to glorify God in every action that we do. Peter says in his first epistle:

“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as the ability which God giveth; that GOD IN ALL THINGS MAY BE GLORIFIED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. "

We need to start examining our lives more closely to make sure that the things we are doing are glorifying God. After all, we are to glorify God IN ALL THINGS. As you go about your daily life, make note of the things you are doing and at the end of the day, look back at what you did and ask yourself which things glorified God and which things didn't...

“For ye are bought with a price: therefore GLORIFY GOD in your body, and IN your spirit, WHICH ARE GOD’S” (1st Cor 6:20)
