There's a Great Day Coming

As followers of Christ, we are confident that there is a great day coming. It will be a great and marvelous day because we will be rid of all the trials of this life. In Rev. 21:4, we are told that in eternity there will be no more trials and tribulations. Won't it be great to not have to live in a world where we are constantly faced with trials and temptations? We will one day be able to rid ourselves of all temptations! Every single day we are tempted by Satan - but we will one day BE WITH God - and no longer have to worry about being bothered by Satan.

We need to keep in mind, however, that this is only a great day to those who seek and keep God's commandments. For those who are not worshippers of the Lord, this will be a very sad day. Rev. 20:10 says that all who are not worshippers of God will be punished day and night forever. Then we are told in the following chapter that they will be put in the eternal lake of fire and brimstone. Don't let that happen to you.

We don't know when the Day will be coming... It could be tonight. It could be tomorrow. It could be 300 years from now... Whenever it is, we need to make sure we're ready. Don't let that day be a sad day for you...
