We're all familiar with the passage that Jesus gives us about how we should pray. In Matthew 6:9-10 He says, "... Thy Kingdom come, your will be done, On earth as it is in Heaven." Sometimes we incorporate this into our prayers - But do we really mean it? Do we really want God's will to be done? Letting God decide what is best should not be something that we do reluctantly or grudgingly. Our purpose in our prayers to God should be to put ourselves in the Lord's hands and trust His judgement. Again, God wants what is best for us and we have to trust that His will is right.
